Student Group Urban Design Grant

Grants of up to $1,000 per year are available to student groups interested in urban design. Grants may be used for such purposes as paying for field trips, sponsoring guest speakers, receptions and events, student publications, etc. Both undergraduates and graduate students may apply. Funds may not be used for activities that are part of course work or that are primarily initiated by a department or academic program--e.g. class field trips, study abroad programs.

To receive funding write a proposal of up to two pages, that answers the following questions:

  • What is the proposed activity?
  • How does the proposed activity contribute to raising awareness about urban design on campus?
  • How does the proposed activity fit with the other work of the student group?
  • Who will be responsible for the proposed work?
  • Is there a faculty sponsor?
  • What are the specific costs?
  • What difference does this grant make?
Email the proposal to David Lowe.
