Outreach and research work has regularly appeared in local and metropolitan media and has been featured or cited in venues such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Psychology Today, Planning magazine, MPR Mid-Morning, Architecture Minnesota, and governing.com.
Design Center work has also been featured or mentioned in numerous regional and local newspapers, on radio and TV, and in magazines and newsletters. For example, the 2003-2005 Twin Cities Walking Study was featured in numerous venues. In addition to major interviews or profiles of the project listed below former Design Center Director Ann Forsyth was interviewed or quoted on TV: KMSP (March 2004, interview); WCCO (April 2004 interview); and in the local press in the Shoreview Press, Sun Focus, Highland Villager, Blaine Spring Lake Park Life, and neighborhood newsletters. The Image Bank has been the focus of articles in venues as diverse as Minnesota Magazine and the ArchNet--The Islamic architecture network.
